Stewart Filmscreen wins the Home Technology Association’s (HTA) 2022 Product of the Year Award in the Projector Screen Category.

TORRANCE, CA – February 9, 2023 – Stewart Filmscreen Corp., the industry-leading manufacturer of film screens, wins the Home Technology Association’s (HTA) 2022 Product of the Year Award in the Projector Screen category. The HTA integrators selected the VistaScope two-way masking system as their “favorite” projector screen!

“We are excited to bring the industry awards selected by integrators. Unlike many award programs that are nominated by manufacturers, the HTA Product of the Year Awards are chosen by HTA Certified home technology integrators who have extensive hands-on experience with these products and brands. We believe other integrators and even end users will benefit from this knowledge, which comes direct to you from the experienced installers on the front lines of the home technology industry,” said Josh Christian
CEO of the Home Technology Association.

The VistaScope EVO, Stewart’s newest model, is now available with 4.5” vertical borders and 4.0” horizontal borders with a depth of just under 6.0”. This compact design allows for a contemporary look and a larger viewing surface. The VistaScope line comes in all popular front projection Stewart Filmscreen fabrics including the reference StudioTek 100, StudioTek 130 G4 and Harmony G2 (weave).
“We listened carefully to integrators when we designed the VistaScope EVO. They wanted first-class features including smaller borders with Velux to absorb light and over scan for the best viewing experience as well as preset masking options for multiple aspect ratios down to 4:3 (NTSC). Additional features allow the integrator to attach the viewing surface from the front with removable borders for easy access to the motors, masking, etc. We take great pride in production to provide the best products to our customers,” said Alex Mondragon, Head of Production.

As consumer demand for home entertainment and content streaming services continues to grow, Stewart Filmscreen will remain the industry leader with its proprietary screen technologies designed specifically for today’s video and film projection. All products are made in the USA at its 4-acre factory in Torrance, CA.
